A new football era has begun in Chicago with Ryan Poles as General Manager. Poles, coming from the Chiefs’ front office, has already overhauled over half the roster, and the changes aren’t stopping anytime soon. Former Colts Defensive Coordinator Matt Eberflus is coaching the team, and if this preseason has been any indication, the Bears are looking fresh.

However, quarterback Justin Fields remains the most important factor in Halas Hall, and Ryan Poles has taken tangible steps to protect Fields. He turned over a very bad offensive line from last year, and we’ll know soon if those changes were for the better. Work remains in finding Fields some weapons to throw to, and without great leaps made by Darnell Mooney and Cole Kmet, the Bears still won’t have an elite offense.

Pace has made some good strides in his short time in Chicago.

SURVIVOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Similar to Pick Ems, Survivor Football is picking a winner in an NFL matchup each week. The difference is that you are locking in one matchup rather than every game. Lock in the matchup you’re most confident will go the way you predict, like whoever is playing the Lions, and if the game goes the way you predicted, then you’re in the clear.

If you’re wrong, though, then you get a strike. Three strikes and you’re out.
