Fan confidence in the Chicago Bears franchise drops again

Are franchise wide changes looming for the Bears?

Another historically brutal loss last week by the Chicago Bears has our fan base shaking their collective heads at the direction of this franchise, and only 24% of our fans still believe the Bears are on the right track.

We’ve seen so many self-inflicted miscues by this coaching staff and players that we expect the worst out of them every game.

Head coach Matt Eberflus will probably need a miraculous finish to save his job, and that may not even be enough based on the recent report from Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer.

“I think it’s trending toward Matt Eberflus not being back, and that in part is due to Kevin Warren’s influence in the organization,” Breer said in a recent mailbag via NBC Chicago.

Warren is in his first year as Team President, and if he truly has full autonomy to do things his way, changes could be looming.

“He did not hire Ryan Poles, he did not hire Matt Eberflus, and I think he’s motivated to see what he can do with his own guys in there,” Breer continued. “I’ve also heard that Kevin Warren wants to be more involved on the football side.”

Here’s a bonus poll this week...
