The latest Bears Banter Podcast has dropped!

The Chicago Bears blew the victory against the Cleveland Browns in epic fashion. Allowing Joe Flacco to pass for over 200 yards in the fourth quarter, blowing a double-digit lead while the offense only mustered 3 unassisted points the entire game.

To digest how this happened and how it’s going to impact the franchise moving forward, Kevin Fishbain from The Athletic joined the podcast to discuss!

Kevin brought plenty of knowledge about what went wrong on Sunday and how it’s going to impact decisions moving forward. We also discussed Montez Sweat and Eddie Jackson, but at the end of the interview, we asked Kevin what he felt was going to happen to Matt Eberflus, Luke Getsy, and Justin Fields at season’s end. His answer?

“This is recency bias after what I experienced [in Cleveland], but I would say all three gone. That’s what I would say right now, and like you said, I don’t think wins over Atlanta or Arizona would make a difference.”

Kevin did throw one caveat into the mix, however.

“Let’s say they beat Arizona and Atlanta and Green Bay is playing for a playoff spot. And we know how much that rivalry means to the McCaskey family. That would be a funny scenario, if the Bears went into Lambeau, played lights out football, led by Justin Fields and keep the Packers out of the playoffs. And maybe they've made all these decisions already, but then George goes, ‘Guys, we just beat the Packers, that was incredible.’”
