That was a fun week where we all thought the Chicago Bears were actually about to climb back into those postseason “in the hunt” graphics. A win in Cleveland, and we may even have seen NBC’s political analyst Steve Kornacki flailing his arms about while breaking down all the percentages for Chicago’s unlikely path to the seventh seed.
Another epic collapse by Matt Eberflus’ team and another losing record clinched for our beloved Bears.
Chicago hasn’t had a winning record since 2018, and before that, you have to go back to 2012 and the last stand of Lovie Smith for a Bears winning percentage above .500.
At least the Arizona Cardinals, the Bears opponent on Sunday, has been worse than Chicago this season, so it’s a game the Soldier Field faithful should be able to enjoy.
