How to bet this weekend’s games

Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals return to Soldier Field this weekend. The last time Murray played the Chicago Bears, he threw for two scores and rushed for two more in a 33-22 victory for the visiting red birds. The Cardinals made the playoffs that year before falling flat in 2022, causing the organization to hit reset. Murray started the year on injured reserve, recovering from a torn ACL and the Cardinals went about their business stacking losses in a rebuilding year. Since Murray’s return, the Cardinals are 2-3 with wins against Atlanta and Pittsburgh.

The Bears just lost another heartbreaker last week, this time in Cleveland. That loss essentially eliminated any hope that the Bears could sneak into the playoffs by winning out. This is a total “vibes” observation but reading the reactions from players in the locker room after the third collapse of the season felt different. Picking an outcome of a game off of vibes is maybe not the best idea in the world, but it would not surprise me if the Bears came out flat in this one. The Cardinals have been at least interesting on offense this year so I imagine points will be scored. I’m going out on a limb though to predict the Cardinals walk out of Soldier Field with another victory, effectively ending any debate about the potential continuation of the Matt Eberflus era.
