The latest Bears Banter Podcast has dropped!

This is one you don’t want to miss, Bears fans! Long-time Chicago Bears beat writer Brad Biggs joins the podcast to talk about everything he’s hearing at Halas Hall!

Bears fans, what’s on your minds right now?

How much will Kevin Warren have to say in the futures of Ryan Poles and Matt Eberflus? We discuss it.

What does the future of Justin Fields hold? We discuss it.

Could Jim Harbaugh be coaching the Chicago Bears next year? We discuss it.

Brad does a great job on a variety of topics so he’s absolutely worth listening to. But he really had some interesting comments about the job security of Ryan Poles. There’s been plenty of speculation made by the NFL media that while Poles, overall, appears to be doing a good job with the roster, that perhaps his job could be in jeopardy because a few of the decisions he’s made that didn’t work out and the other large issue is the fact that his boss, Kevin Warren, was hired after he was so perhaps he would want to make a change and bring in his own guy at general manager.

Biggs isn’t so sure if that would happen.

“Based on what I’ve seen and heard, I think Kevin Warren and Ryan Poles have a strong working relationship that they are still developing,” Biggs stated. “I think they’ve probably hit it off to start with... so I would think that Poles is okay, more than okay; I think Poles is on solid ground right now with Kevin Warren and with George McCaskey.”
