The Chicago Bears likely wanted to take a mulligan on the last couple of minutes from their week 11 game against the Detroit Lions. But while there are no do-overs in the National Football League, the Bears do get a second crack at the Lions due to divisional play. Since that game, the Bears narrowly defeated the Vikings and then got to rest up on their bye week, while the Lions dropped their Thanksgiving game to the Packers and hung on to beat the Saints last Sunday.
The NFC North-leading Lions are looking for their tenth win this season, and the Bears are fighting for win number five and the first-ever back-to-back dubs in the Matt Eberflus era.
Chicago holds the all-time edge in this rivalry (104-78-5), which dates back to when the Lions were known as the Portsmouth Spartans, but Detroit has won three straight.
