WCG Sunday Livestream: NFL Week 18 - Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Chicago Bears Mike Dinovo-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, Bears fans. Welcome to Week 18 of the season.

It’s been a rollercoaster of a season for the Chicago Bears, and certainly one where we didn’t think we’d have the future outlook that we do now given how it started. Remember in week 2 when Justin Fields said he felt robotic? Remember week 4 when the Bears blew a double-digit fourth-quarter lead to give Denver its first win of the year - and then did it twice more?

And then remember when the Bears traded a second-round pick for Montez Sweat and immediately made him a defensive cornerstone?

Since the Sweat acquisition the Bears are 5-3, and while out of the playoff race themselves, the final week of this season gives the Bears a playoff atmosphere. The Green Bay Packers come in facing a “win and in” situation. The Bears could knock them out with their own eighth win of the year - and with a Minnesota loss, through tiebreakers find themselves at second in the division.

And with the #1 overall pick already locked up thanks to the Carolina Panthers’ loss last week, there’s a whole offseason to answer the Justin Fields/Caleb Williams question.

For the Navy and Orange, today’s for enjoying the final Bears game of the season.

Today’s for getting the eighth win of the year.

Today’s for riding the high of winning 5 of the last 7.

Today’s for beating Green Bay.

One more time. Bear Down.

Today’s WCG Sunday Livestream wants give a special thank you to everyone who’s watched, commented, participated, provided content for, and just plain helped make it what it’s been for Sam and myself for the last 11 seasons. Some day we’ll be doing playoff editions again.
