Bronzed Bears: Who’s Next for the Hall of Fame?

Could Charles Tillman or Lance Briggs be the next Bears player in Canton?

Jeff Berckes has been covering the Bears since 2015, and is an owner and host for the 2nd City Gridiron video and podcast channels.

Now that Devin Hester, Steve McMichael, and Julius Peppers are all enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, the question for Bears fans shifts to who might be next. Bears fans have had an incredible run over the last half dozen years, starting with Brian Urlacher’s induction in 2018 and adding two senior candidates in Jimbo Covert and Ed Sprinkle in 2020 to go along with the three players this year.

To try and understand the Hall of Fame resumes of Chicago Bears past and present, the limited podcast series Bronzed Bears is back. Join me as I talk to Bill Zimmerman, Lester Wiltfong, Paul Lawrence, Kirk Buckner, and Jack Silverstein as we talk through players like Charles Tillman, Lance Briggs, Olin Kreutz, Jay Hilgenberg, Khalil Mack and more.
